I have a case of hosting company.

Company is not registered in India and it is a non resident company.

Company provides services such as web hosting, domain registrations etc.

Company is required to get registered under GST in India.

What are the documents required for GST registration by a Non-Resident Online Services Provider?

You need to provide following documents for GST registration of a Non-Resident Online Services Provider:

  • Photo of the Authorised Signatory
  • Proof of Appointment of Authorised Signatory (Any One) - Letter of Authorisation, Copy of Resolution passed by BoD/ Managing Committee and Acceptance letter
  • Proof of Non-Resident Online Services Provider (Any One) - Clearance certificate issued by Government of India, Certificate of Incorporation if the Company is registered outside India or in India, License is issued by origin country
  • Proof of Details of Bank Accounts (Any One) - First page of Pass Book, Bank Statement, Cancelled Cheque
