I am a recipient of goods and i need to generate Eway bill . While generating it is asking RR number which i don't have. Without it is not allowing me generate Eway bill. Is there any workaround for the same.
You need to have RR number to generate E-way bill. There is no workaround.
Even as per the latest notification railway will not transport goods without E-way bill. So you must get RR number and prepare E-way bill to transport goods.
