It has become very easy to verify your Provident Fund Balance in your PF account. You can check your PF balance every month to ensure that your employer is correctly paying your PF and its going to your PF account.

You can verify you PF balance by any of the 5 options:

  1. EPFO portal
  2. EPFO App
  3. UMANG App
  4. Sending a message or
  5. Giving a missed call

Verify PF balance using EPFO portal

You can verify your PF balance through EPOF portal. You need to first login to your account and UAN must be enabled.

You can navigate to passbook and check your PF balance.

Verify PF balance using EPFO App

EPFO has launched app for PF account holders. You can verify you PF balance by installing the app and authenticating through your credentials.

UMANG APP

You can check your PF balance even using UMANG App. Umang app was launched to provide various government services and can be used to even check PF balance.

Verify PF balance through SMS

You can check your PF balance by sending a message.

You must have UAN generated and registered on your EPFO account. You can check balance in English or Hindi language.

To get your PF balance through SMS, type EPFOHO UAN ENG and send it to 7738299899.

Also note that your Aadhaar, PAN and UAN must be linked to avail this service without any error.

Verify PF balance by giving a missed call

You can also check your PF balance by giving a missed call to 011-22901406. However your mobile number should be registered and linked with profile. Also Aadhaar, UAN and PAN must be linked.
