How do I get the trade name for my GSTIN to be updated, google search of my GSTIN shows old name associated with my GST. It’s causing a lot of confusion
To update your GSTIN trade name, you must file an amendment application on the official GST portal (using Form GST REG‑14) with supporting documents. Once approved by the GST officer (usually within 15–20 days), your new trade name will reflect in GST records.
Please reply with your GST number and it should be updated. Also note that GST number and its related details are public information so there is no harm in sharing GST number.
