Please clarify me some of the people in our areas are giving cash against credit card swiping. Is that is a legal business to do and also let me know the GST implications on that....

I have no idea whether this service is legal or not.
However if charges are collected then GST is applicable.
You need to charge GST on charges, interest is exempted from GST.
