can supplier mentioned freight charges with tax separately in invoice, if he is not GTA.

Yes supplier can mention freight charges in invoice separately.

In fact freight is nothing but a part of cost of value of your supplies so you have to charge tax on it.

You can either include this cost in cost of product itself or show separately in invoice.

    If freight included in cost of materials the purchaser can get the Input tax on freight also - is it right ? if freight shown seperately the purchaser can't get input tax on freight - is it right ? Please clarify. - SIVA RAMA KRISHNA Janjanam
    No, whether you show seperatly or include in cost. In both cases purchaser will get input credit. - Pulkit Sharma
