GST HSN list has the code 28530010.

It contains:

OTHER INORGANIC COMPOUNDS (INCLUDING DISTILLED OR CONDUCTIVITY WATER AND WATER OF SIMILAR PURITY); LIQUID AIR (WHETHER OR NOT RARE GASES HAVE BEEN REMOVED); COMPRESSED AIR; AMALGAMS, OTHER THAN AMALGAMS OF PRECIOUS METALS: - OTHER INORGANIC COMPOUNDS (INCLUDING DISTILLED OR CONDUCTIVITY WATER AND WATER OF SIMILAR PURITY); LIQUID AIR (WHETHER OR NOT RARE GASES HAVE BEEN REMOVED); COMPRESSED AIR; AMALGAMS, OTHER THAN AMALGAMS OF PRECIOUS METALS : AMALGAMS, OTHER THAN OF PRECIOUS METALS --- DISTILLED OR CONDUCTIVITY WATER AND WATER OF SIMILAR PURITY

Tax rate for this item is 5% as per rate list. However rate list released does not specifically include distilled water.

The rate list for this code includes Compressed air [2853]

2201 Waters, including natural or artificial mineral waters and aerated waters, not containing added sugar or other sweetening matter nor flavoured and is taxed at 18%.

This is bit confusing. As 2201 is mainly for beverages and other 2201 in rate list does not contain distilled water.

28539010 is not in the HSN list.
