i want to know, is there any act , law as per labour or any other thing which states that the health insurance of employees is compulsory for IT (software enabled services) company.
if there is any law, please provide me the details or any section as per law in india.
There is no compulsion to have health insurance for employees.
However it is advised to have a group health insurance policy for employees to save cost in case of any health emergency.
As of now there is no compulsory health insurance requirement by any industry, except in case of labours where ESI is required if you have more than 9 labors working for you.
