Hi..i have a retail outlet of textile and readymade garments. We are charging extra 5% or 12% gst on the mrp on our pre gst goods to our customers. We haven't printed any revised mrp on the rate tags or used any stickers to mention new mrp. Just wanted to know if we are doing the right thing.?

Government has provided that retailers can change the MRP due to GST impact. However for old stock only.

Till 30 September already printed MRP along with new MRP can be displayed on the porduct.

Post 30 September only 1 MRP can be printed.

What you are doing is fine but you should write the new MRP along with old MRP on products. After September you can have only 1 MRP.
