Hello Friends,

How to claim GST refund of Q2 from July-September period? Some people are saying that the refund window will open soon but others are saying to make less payment after adjusting the refund amount like say GSTR of October Rs. 10/- and refund amount of Q2 Rs. 8/- then deposit only Rs. 2/- Is that the case?

Thanks

You can claim refund in GSTR-3 which is not available yet.

Which refund you are referring to?

Refund of tax in bank accounts is possible in only 2 cases:

  1. Exporter,
  2. Input rate is higher than output

Exporters window is not open yet.

In second case you can claim refund in GSTR-3 which is again not working yet.

Sir, in case of two of my clients we wrongly deposited more money in GSTR3-B. We have filed GSTR-1. Now waiting to file GSTR-2. How to claim refund for the excess deposited amount? Both are not exporters. What does input rate higher than output mean? - guest
