WE HAVE PURCHASED FURNITURE OF RS. 10000/-. VENDOR HAS CHARGED RS. 1000 FREIGHT. HE HAS NOT LEVIED ANY TAX ON FREIGHT.
PLEASE GUIDE HOW BOOK THIS FREIGHT. WHETHER WE NEED TO PAY GST UNDER RCM ?
If you bought furniture, did he charge GST on furniture?
If not then you have to pay tax under RCM for furniture and freight charges both.
If he has charged freight in same invoice along with furniture and charged GST only on furniture and not on freight, then ask him to charge GST on freight also.
