The HSN for Natural Honey is 04090000. The GST Rate is Exempt for Natural Honey, other than put up in unit container and bearing a registered brand name.

A manufacturer sells in his registered brand name and that is charged GST @ 5%.

The manufacturer also sells honey in jars of 250gm, 500gm, 1kg etc without any name/ label to few re-sellers, who then after purchasing, affix their own label and sell further.

My Query is when the manufacturer sells the unbranded honey in unit containers, should he raise invoice @GST5% or exempted Sales.

As per notification GST is to be charged when Natural honey, put up in unit container and bearing a registered brand name.

If you sell without registered brand name then there is no requirement to charge GST.
