Sir

A manufacturer usually loses part of his raw materials while taking trials etc before arriving at the intended finished product. For example a printer, who is printing visiting cards, had to reprint the full order, as the first lot he printed contained spelling mistakes. For the printer, the first print lot is wasted. He will get paid only for the second lot. Such manufacturing wastage happens in practice in all industries.

My Query is will we have to forego the ITC for the wasted part?. It is also practically difficult to ascertain the exact raw materials wasted. Please advice Sir
