Hello,

Me and my collegaues have taken the work of a new firm. The firm's previous accountant for July'17's GST return deposited excess GST. By that I mean that he didn't enter all bills of sale and added excess purchase bills. Is there anything that can be done about it? To offset liability he changed the figuers as he felt was okay and deposited the excess amount.

Thanks

Respected Kamal Sir, We have prepared the actual computation. It pertains to the month of September 2017. How to carry the balance now

Sir,

you should prepare the actual computation for the related month check if the GST payable was excess to the GST receivable (ITC) and if the there was the condition that they had to pay less you may carry the balance ITC in further GSTR3B.

Thanks

Kamal
