Sir,

Actually we have a contract in which services are being provided along with some required goods being supplied by the contractor himself and during the process of rendering services they will be using diesel. The invoice raised by them clearly indicates the value of each item i.e goods, service, diesel & petrol cost. and they are claiming GST on the whole value of Invoice. My doubt here is that whether i need to pay GST on Diesel & petrol cost as they are out of scope of GST. If yes please provide me the section.

What your supplier is doing is correct.

If you read valuation rules under GST, it is clear that every expense or supply should be included in value of supply.

Though individually dealing with patrol and diesel will not attract GST but it is a mixed supply and GST will be applicable.
