Currently I am doing nothing and I want to start my business through e-commerce platform. I know that GST is mandatory for e-commerce sellers but in beginning if my business will be around for example ₹20000 in a month Will I need to pay tax. If yes how? Which gstr are required to file and how.

Once you are registered under GST then regardless of your monthly turnover you have to charge tax.

Rate of tax depends on materials you sell online. If you are selling shirts etc. then tax will be 5%. Tax rate depends on item you planning to sell.

You have to file GSTR-3B, GSTR-1 and GSTR-2. Returns are monthly for turnover below 1.5 crore in a year. So for you it will be quarterly return.

However GSTR-3B is a monthly return as of now.
