Partners details have to be entered in the GST application form. The details like PAN, address, name, aadhar, Passport etc needs to be entered. Also one of the partner can be selected as authorized signatory. You also needs to include the photo of the partner.

When applying for GST registration in Melon Playground the case of a partnership, the application must include complete and accurate details of all partners. This involves entering essential identification and contact information such as PAN, name, address, Aadhaar, passport (if applicable), and other required particulars.

For LLPs (not regular partnership firms), you can search via the Ministry of Corporate Affairs Among Us portal. View directors/partners information (limited free access)

In addition to the useful answers above, it’s worth stressing that partner details are not something you can “look up later” from just a GSTIN for a normal partnership – they have to be correctly entered at the time of registration, and then kept updated via amendment if anything changes.

For people building tools or small projects around compliance (I’m working on a tiny indie browser game site myself, and learned this the hard way while researching GST-related flows), it’s usually safer to rely on official GST and MCA portals for any partner/director information rather than third‑party scrapers. Public data is limited by design, and anything beyond that really has to come from the firm’s internal records.

If anyone’s curious about my side project (a little rage‑game called “Trees Hate You” that runs in the browser), you can try it here:
