HI

I want to apply for GST no. as commission agent in grain market. but market is established temporarily at a place in my village due to avoid rush due to COVID-19 and the place at which market has been set-up is  under the possession of gram  panchayat and panchayat has given this place to market committee for serving their purpose and a space has been alloated to me by market committee for buying the produce from farmers. now problem is that which address should I give as principal place of business as if i gave address of the place where market has been set up then they are demanding proof of address (i.e. Electricity bill , or ownership document ) but none of them is available then what may be the alternative for the address proof of principal place of business or there are any other substitute way for getting GST number.

Hi, You can get a consent letter from that Gram Panchayat mentioning the address, which can be used as a address proof for GST
