Dear sir,

I am a manufacturer of Footwear in Bangalore.

Most of my Customers are street hawkers and vendors who do not have any permanent address of business. There will be no way in which they will be able to provide me there GST No.

Since 99% of my customers are of the same above mentioned category, how do i sell goods to them?

I am registered under GST as my turn over last year was more than 5 Cr.

If i do not sell goods to them i will have to shut shop and go home.

Kindly help me with your expert advise and oblige.

There is no issue in selling to unregistered person.

If you buy from unregistered person then RCM becomes applicable. Otherwise there is no problem in selling to unregistered person.

I think many people are confused over dealing with unregistered person.

There is no problem in selling goods to unregistered person. You do not have to shut the shop. continue your business in same manner as you are doing. Just the bill format will change and tax rate will change.
