We are a transporter and we already registered in gst and have gst no but now many clients ask us our transport I'd for e way bill so pls concert us what is my transport I'd and how can I found this

Transporter id is a 15 digit number which is issued to an unregistered transporter for E-way bill.
In case a transporter is not registered under GST, he can register on e-way portal. After registration a unique 15 digit number will be allocated.
Benefit of enrolling as transporter on E-way bill system is that you can edit vehicle details whenever there is any change in transportation vehicle.
