Your limit for current tax period has exceeded error while making payment challan

I am trying to pay GST but getting following error

Your limit for current tax period has exceeded

How to resolve this error as I am not able to make GST payment?

Is there any other way to pay GST to government other than challan creations?

I think GSTN has restricted the number of challan one can generate for a tax period.

You can try to generate challan and pay tax without login to your account.

  1. Go to GST website
  2. Click on Services
  3. Click on Payment
  4. Click on Create Challan

I think here you should be able to pay your tax. Mention correct GST number while making payment.
