Update (08/10/2018) : Tax audit due date is further extended to 31 October, 2018.
As per a source, Tax Audit Report filing will be extended to 31 October 2018 and notification will be issued on Monday.
This is a confirm news from a source and this source has been proved right multiple times.
Chartered Accountants and tax consultants have busy days and this extension will bring some relief.

It is matter of time when notification is issued.
